WEDDING GOWN DREAMS COME TRUE with alterations and restyles by
Deb's Sewing Service.
My favorite picture of this beautiful wedding gown....
Looking out the castle window!
The gown originally had a full back. It was cut out to the exact shape the bride had wished for.
Whether we let out or take in your gown it will fit to perfection.
We can adjust the bodice, hem your gown and add a bustle. This bride wished to wear her beautiful cathedral length veil at the reception. We added a bustle to the veil as well!
Here is one of our happy brides!
We made her gown larger in the bust by adding fabric cut from the hem.
No one is the wiser.
BELOW: This now perfectly fit gown has an asymmetrical skirt and train. The hem is just touching the floor in the front. After bustle:
Getting around easily at the reception is now manageable thanks to this beautiful bustle.
Detailed written instructions are included with your bustle by Deb's Sewing Service. The attachment points are identified with color coded ribbons making your Wedding day more stress free.
Not sure what you want or need? Let our professional seamstress guide you through the fitting process.
We can make your already beautiful gown your perfect dream gown.
Re-styling of your gown may not be possible at the bridal shop where you purchase your wedding gown. We understand that many Bridal Shop alteration departments are not allowed to preform more drastic alterations like train removal. Be sure and ask specific alteration questions at time of purchase if you plan to have your alterations completed at their shop.
Don't worry if they tell you they can not do this or that. Put your gown on hold and contact us. More than likely we can alter whatever your heart desires.
Many brides are on a limited budget. Repair or alterations on a family heirloom gown or veil can be a meaningful option.
This headpiece was in need of some tender loving care.

Swarovski crystals to enhance
a vintage gown. Sometimes just a little change can make the family gown perfect for you.
If a small hair piece or fascinater you have in mind, Deb's Sewing Service can create a one-of-a kind item made specially for you. Often the base fabric for these items can be taken from the shortened hem of your gown and will match perfectly.
You might also consider taking a good look at the formal gowns at the bridal shop. Often these formal gowns can be ordered in white or ivory and make a very affordable wedding gown. Whatever gown you are comfortable in and will make you feel special on your wedding day is the right choice.
Wedding Gown alterations can take four to six weeks to complete. We suggest you contact us as soon as you have your gown so we can add you to our upcoming work schedule. We like to plan your first fitting six to eight weeks prior to your wedding. You can expect two or three fittings before the work can be completed. For your comfort and ours, gown completion should be one or two weeks prior to your Wedding Day.
We've recently added storage service of your wedding gown after alterations are complete, until your ceremony.
Also available are "transfer bags" to protect your ready to wear pressed gown to carry to the ceremony dressing room. Please ask for details.
Please check out our Fittings page. We want you to be prepared. We need accurate fittings to assure exact alteration results.
Do you have a Cherished Wedding Gown you no longer need or want? Check out our Keepsakes page. You could have a custom gift created from your gown.
